4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very pale but surprisingly malty sweet in aroma. Lots of tropical fruit on top tho. And this carries in to the flavour, which is perfectly balanced. As an English IPA this definitely stands out from the crowd.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask at Newcastle Beer Festival. Pale gold with a thin white head. Hop smell. Lime and grapefruit. Mouthfeel nice and light. Grapefruit. Zest. Had a bit of hop
Flower in it. Not a nice surprise. Finish not as bitter as expected.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Poured this one into am English pint. The appearance is golden slightly cloudy with a white head. Aroma is citrus and the flavour is very hoppy with a strong bitter finish. It flows acrost the palate a little oily. Overall I am not a big fan of IPAs but I can say it is a decent one.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
[cask at Cloisters Bar, Edinburgh] Golden amber beer, with a decent white head. Sweet caramel malt aroma, alongside a tropical fruit aroma – plenty of mango and passion fruit on the nose. On the taste, too – it’s very slick, there’s that sweet caramel flavour combining with the passion fruit and papaya from the hops. The whole things is very creamy, and finishes bittersweet. Nice stuff – would maybe overload the palate after a couple, but who cares?

On cask at Cloisters. Pours a light golden with a thick white head. A great passion fruit aroma with caramel and pineapple also. Similar flavours with a dry finish. Moderate carbonation. Lovely.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from brewery. Probably slightly different from the cask version. Hoppy and pale, very pronounced dry fruity aroma and flavour, just a touch of sweet caramel, grapefruit in the background. Mordue’s trademark creaminess and a good, long, clean finish
