3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 reakt (948) - Greater London, - JUN 18, 2010Cask @ Hamilton Hall Sporks. Pours pale blonde with a lasting white head, on top form I might add. Nose has sweet pale malts and grassy, citric hops. Taste is much the same, sweet at first then a nice dry citric grassy hop bite in the swallow. Clean and refreshing, a great summer thirst quencher.

Slightly hazy orange colour, mediumsized beige head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is grassy, herbal, hayish and mild bready maltyness. Flavour is bigtime bitterness with mild yeasty and malty notes along with some grass and mild earthyness as well. Rather bitter finish.

Slightly weak appearance but a fine creamy head hides an extremely hopped ale, especially in its taste.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 foxo82 (478) - Tamworth (via Leicester), Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 17, 2012
Bottle from beersofeurope.co.uk. Pale yellow/amber with virtually no head. Faint floral, hoppy aroma. Tastes full bodied, very dry and very bitter so it won’t win any prizes for drinkability. Grapefruit, grassy, citrus, just not one ounce of sweetness. It’s like drinking sandpaper but I think I like it - it’s just not quite to my taste.

50cl bottle poured into a pint glass. Hazy gold with one finger white head. Aroma is grassy hops. A resiny hops flavor that goes slightly sour at the end. A full-bodied ale that leaves a lasting hops finish. Nice.
