Draught pint. Clear straw colour with a small head that disappears leaving a little lacing. Mild aroma of citrus and yeast. Yeast, hops, straw and grapefruit flavours. Robust bitter finish. Moderate carbonation and fairly light bodied. Very nice.

Cask at Lady Grey’s, Newcastle. Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Aromas of lemon citrus and hay. Taste has more of the same, plus bready malt. Not a lot going on really. OK.

500ml bottle. Pours a straw yellow colour with a large frothy white head and aroma of fruity citrus & yeast. Malty taste with sourish grapefruit citrus and grassy notes. Foamy mouth feel, light bodied, high carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite OK.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. This is a pale hazy straw coloured beer that pours with a large creamy foam head. It has a grassy, herbal and citrus fruity flavour, a creamy mouthfeel and a bitter-sweet, slight woody finish.

Cask handpull at White Horse Winter Best of British Beer Festival, Chelmsford. Straw colour, light head, subtle vanilla aroma. Creamy, medium body with minimal carbonation. Quite nice this, went down well.

Cask handpull at Old Thameside. clear pale gold colour lasting white head. Its an ok blobde ale. some citrus some soft hop. slightly lemony. its ok but ibstantly forgettable. like a hundred others quite bitter on finish mind.

Cask conditioned at The Chequers, Oxford. Pale gold with white head. Light, citrusy beer, grapefruit and grapey with a slight pine like note. Very pleasant.
