Cask @ Crown and Anchor, Findhorn.......Golden lager-colour, clear with 1cm white head....Aroma of light malt, bit of bitter hop, slight citrus..Taste of biscuity malt, slight fruit, bitter hopping and a bit of citrus, rather lager-like. Palate..plain bitter finish......Overall - quite a nice drinkable beer, not outstanding in taste and aroma, but OK. Easy drinking beer.

One of the best draft beers I’ve tasted in a long time. Watch it ! It’s a bit on the strong side for the UK and you’ll notice

500 ml bottle served cellar cool. Beautiful dark gold body with a thick white head. Floral hops and a bit of bubblegum in the aroma.I taste bitter marmalade and digestive biscuit flavours, sweetness perfectly balanced with the bitter finish. In my years of drinking in the real ale pubs of Tyneside, I can’t remember encountering this on draught, and I think I probably have, but assumed it would be a run-of -the-mill strong bitter, and ordered something else, mores the pity. It’s much better than that

Attractive golden colour, head a wee bit too thin, lasts ok tho! Pleasant sweetish malty flavours with good citrus fruit hops. Finish is good, lingers well! I like this, would buy again! Bottle from Asda Galashiels.

Cask at Crown Rivers JDW LHR T5 - 29/02/12. Dark golden colour with a fluffy off-white head. Faint toasted malts on the nose allied to a little hop aroma. Fruity flavours form the backbone - subdued grapefruit, a little kiwi and some citrus and a touch of caramel. Medium bodied - dry finish.

Cask @ The Wharf, Aalborg, Denmark
Pours clear deep golden with a small off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, berries, floral and grassy hops. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter and light sour. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft.

Cask at the wharf. A lightly hazy, golden beer with some bubbles on top. Smelling the beer, it’s clearly some infection going on. Some citrusy hops in the back. The flavor is equally bad, clearly infected, and with a citrusy flavor and bitterness. Medium body, quite soft on the palate. I guess it’s the pub that’s the problem, at least I hope so. Reather awful. 120624

4.8% gold colour with a thin head, hoppy aroma, floral hop taste, not quite what I was expecting.
