Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. A pale golden beer that pours with a large foamy head. Sweet citrus flavours dominate with delicate floral notes and a bitter grapefruit finish. Excellent. A special beer brewed for the 37th Newcastle Beer Festival Battle of the Beers competition. Brewed with only 2 hop varieties and 2 malts.

Cask @ Pig & Falcon, St Neots. Light gold with a small bubbly head. It has a high hoppy citric bitterness with grapefruits certainly evident.

Cask (Red House, Newcastle) - Golden with a foamy white head. Grapefruit and lemon in the aroma. The taste is fairly hoppy and bitter with notes of lemon, tea and grapefruit. Not bad, but could do with a bit more balance.
