Poured a brown amber, small head that quickly faded. Aroma and flavor of sweet fruit and nuts, medium carbonation. good to drink, but not as good as the other de koningshoeven varieties.

Bottle at Hole in the Wall. Reddish. Big head. Fruity nose. Strong taste of dark fruits, cherry and berries. Some caramel. Medium-bodied and enjoyable.

Nut brown colour and malty aroma. Mild flavour which consists of toasted malts and toffee, caramel flavours. Very easy drinking.

From my notes 6/6/2007 pours one-finger white head that fades quickly to a ring leaving some lace. Crystal clear amber color. Malty nose. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Flavor is balanced with some bitterness at finish. On-tap 0.4L glass for €6.50 ($8.91) from Cafe Zwart Amsterdam, NL.

Bottle. Sweet smell of bread/cookie, Grass and Flowers, a hint of vanilla. A average white head, mostly dimishing; the body is red coloured. The flavor is sweet and bitter with a short duration. On the palate the beer has a light body with a dry texture and a flat carbonation. Nice...

Drank a bottle at Hoopman last night. I didn’t knew what to expect but it was a fine beer. Sweet, fruity aroma. Nice colour. Heard this is some kind of ’endangered specie’ under the beers.
