Draught at Morgan St. Pours clear orange with a small, frothy, white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (grain, cereal), light hops (grass), average yeast (sweat) with notes of pear. Light bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear dark orange color with a thin off-white head that dissipates slowly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Bready malt and hops in the nose. Light-bodied and moderately hoppy with some grainy malt and caramel in the background. The finish is on the hoppy side with lightly toasted malt aftertaste. Just average overall.

Draft at the brewpub. Golden amber with a pretty big foam head. Light caramel aroma. Nice well-balanced crisp brew --- light caramel malt, bitter apple, easily quaffable and good. I had more than one. (#3020, 7/14/2007)

Sampled at the 2012 Heritage Festival. It poured a copper color with a small white head. The aroma was of malt with some mild fruity notes. The taste was fruity with some floral hop notes. A decent Vienna.

Strange that they had 2 Vienna styled brews in their lineup. At least this one was a little more drinkable. Soft bodied, light caramel flavors that became more sugary tasting as it went along. Good enough to pair with food - itís a bit boring on itís own.

Light copper color. Very small off white head with nice lace on glass. Faint malt aroma. Flavor is malt with a hint of caramel.

Light tan orange color... Aroma of biscuits, toffee, malts... Flavor is more toffee, biscuits, kind of creamy, light and crisp body... Nice beer

this is a lighter version of a fat tire ale...if you can make it any lighter? amber hue clear with a defunct head. clean on the palate with toffee overtones and well, thats it.

Grainy malt nose, with a light hint of grassy hops. Buttery malty palate, borderlines on being infected. Slightly bittersweet, with a grainy malt texture, light hints of caramel and toffee. Not very impressive.

(On tap) Bland for a Vienna. This seems to fit the style somewhat, but everything about it is rather subdued: only a hint of hops, the malt is weak, the body is weak, and the carbonation is weak, leaving it almost flat. Too sweet. There are many beers of this style that far exceed the quality of this one, but I still think it’s better than a lot of macros.
