Modeled off of an American Wheat beer, the Winter Lager has an appearance of gold and is very cloudy. There is a nice white head, which gracefully laces your glass as you drink this winter concoction. The flavor is sweet, bready, and has traces of the 80+ pounds of fresh bananas that were used in the mash. Some flavors one might experience are either banana bread or a banana smoothie. Available in late November to early January, this Holiday Celebration beer will keep you warm and happy.

Pour is a very cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma has some clove and banana with a little lager grainyness. Flavor is an ok grain with a minor banana added. You can deffinatly tell that banana was added to the mash but this did little to make this a better lager.

Pint at the brewpub. I was not sure how to classify it by style. This is very hazed and golden. Head is a ring. A light fruity aroma with nutmeg and banana. It could pass for a hefe. The flavor is crisp fruit with nutmeg and banana. Oranges, too. This is very light fare and ot is refreshing. This would make a nice summer beer.
