COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Scotch Ale starts with a beautiful off-white head above an intense amber body. A faint peaty aroma compliments a light caramel sweet entrance that gives way to a hint of smokiness and a dry finish. This is an ultra clean, malty beer that will get your bagpipes blazing!

Aroma of light peat, toffee and cider notes. Appearance is copper brown with a ring of tan head. Flavor matches the nose with a slightly smokey finish; the palate is medium, sticky/tacky and pillowy soft. Very drinkable stuff.

Sampled on 10/12/12 at GABF. This Scottish Ale pours a medium copper color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel, bready, slightly peaty and sweet. A medium bodied Scottish Ale. The malts are caramel, peaty and slightly sweet. The hops are herbal. Nice balance. Slightly dry. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Tap. Pours murky nut brown with thin, creamy off-white head; short retention and spare lacing. Aroma is faint with notes of caramel and toasted malt, floral hops, figs, raisins, and mixed nuts. Flavor is balanced sweet malt and dark fruit esters; oily, semi-sweet finish. Light body, low carbonation, and low warmth.

Draft, dark copper in color. Aroma of smoke, jerky, caramel, malt. Light sweetness. Nice mouthfeel for texture. Caramel notes and smoke in taste. Not bad. A bit thin. But smooth

Draft… Pours clear and “shiny new penny” copper with a small, white head. The malty, lightly vinous nose presents caramel, crusted port and dark raisins. Medium-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and laid-back carbonation. The flavor furnishes caramel, toasted nuttiness and medium-roast barley – even at room temperature, the sweetness is well harnessed. Finishes crisp, lightly vinous, mildly sweet and a touch thin.
