COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A seductively soft, easy drinking blonde ale, with an emphasis on a fragile and complex malt character. Made with Belgian candi sugar, honey malt and select Belgian and American grain. Slightly sweet and creamy; perfect for the session connoisseur and the timid domestic drinker looking for an introductory craft beer.

5.1%, 17ibu, draft at brewery. Pale hay color. What is it with this vegetal and grainy husks blonde ales? I’ve been drinking the same crappy blonde across the country. Stop it.

12 oz. can, thanks to weihenweizen. Cloudy, dark orange color, with a big, rocky, eggshell head. The nose is mango, banana, and cream. Sweet, with a bit of citrusy bitterness. Light body, with a creamy, slightly acidic mouthfeel. This is a surprisingly assertive and tasty blonde.

Pours clear blond with a white head. It has a crisp body with a lot of carbonation. The taste has clean blond ale malt, light dough and spicy hops. The Finish is clean and crisp. Pretty nice.

12 oz can part of a six purchased at Studio B in Fayetteville WVa. Morgantown Alpha Blonde Ale is a medium golden, mostly clear beer with a fizzy white head. Nose is lighter roasted grain, wheat bread, yet sharp with a bit of a green grain hint. Taste is clean and crisp, light bready and just a bit crisp with a rather short finish. Body is thin.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow color with a medium white head. A nice fruity nose, light honey. The flavor is smooth grains, honey, a bit of lemon zest. Clean.

Plain old beery smeel. Clear pale yellow. Mild co2. taste is mild as well. No real ill ale effects can be detected. Overall not bad but could be a little more refined.

Draft sampler, poured a clear yellow with small white head. Typical blonde style aroma. Malty sweet and some Belgian characteristics in the nose. The flavor though not a fan was decent crisp hop finish, sweet malt maybe a touch of corn.
