Aroma of caramel and almonds with light floral hops. Appearance is amber with tan head. Flavor matches the nose; the palate is medium, sticky and very soft. Well done.

Tap. Pours clear, dark amber with thin, fizzy off-white head; short retention and spare lacing. Aroma is muted with faint notes of caramel malt, floral and grassy hops, dark fruit, and some woody notes. Flavor is sweet malt forward with good supporting dark fruit esters and faint hops; dry finish. Light body, low carbonation, and low warmth.

Draft. Clear amber. Good head retention. Some caramel malts and slight hop on the nose. Light bitter. Good mouthfeel. Taste is off a bit, skunky maybe.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2011 Draft (Mountaineer Field - WVU vs Norfolk State)... This beer nearly killed me. Smelled and tasted like burnt tire rubber. Too young to be autolysis, I think. Wasn’t overattenuated anyway. DMS? Maybe. I drank 3/4 of it because I’m a fucking "Trooper!" Had to stop when the headache kicked in and the stomach started churning. Was sick as a dog all night. Who knew DMS was toxic? ... if it was DMS at all. Aweful!

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper color with a large tan head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel malts and faint fruity notes. The taste is leafy bitter hops and faint malts. Medium bodied.

Red-brown, beige cover. Aroma is hard candy, butterscotch, sweet. Taste is candy, metal, caramel, apple.

Tap at Morgantown. Pours clear amber with an average, creamy cream colored head, medium retention and good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, caramel, toffee), average hops (earthy, herbal, woody), and average esters (dried fruit). Flavor is heavy malt (cookie, caramel, toasted), average hops (herbal, woody), and average esters (dried fruit). Medium body, warmth, and carbonation, low creaminess with a dry finish.

On tap at Morgantown Brewing Company on 10 March 2010. Fairly dark amber colour. Bright with a lasting head. Came across quite like an English bitter. Reasonable tangy hops. Pleasantly drinkable.
