COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Traditional American Amber Ale with a seductive auburn complexion. A mild caramel sweetness leads to an exquisite balancing act of malt and hops before a smooth and pleasantly floral and earthy ending. 35 I.B.U.

I had this at the brewery on tap. Good caramel flavor and a light mouthfeel. Enjoyed it with the special, Scotch Eggs. It was one of my favorites from their ten beer tasting flight. F Avey---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma is muted with faint notes of caramel malt, floral and grassy hops, dark fruit, and some woody notes. Flavor is sweet malt forward with good supporting dark fruit esters and faint hops; dry finish. Light body, low carbonation, and low warmth.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2011 Draft (Mountaineer Field - WVU vs Norfolk State)... This beer nearly killed me. Smelled and tasted like burnt tire rubber. Too young to be autolysis, I think. Wasn’t overattenuated anyway. DMS? Maybe. I drank 3/4 of it because I’m a fucking "Trooper!" Had to stop when the headache kicked in and the stomach started churning. Was sick as a dog all night. Who knew DMS was toxic? ... if it was DMS at all. Aweful!
