Pale orange with a white head. Quite dusty mustiness on the nose with a young seeming funk. Light bodied, low sourness on the palate, more fruity than funky, and a lightly sweet finish. Taste is peach, apricot, sweet orange peel.

Bottle in my hotel room. Pours cloudy orange with a large, frothy white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is earthy and cellar notes, lactic lemon acidity with stale hops and light black walnut notes. Flavor is tart and lactic lemon with black walnut, stale hops, light malt and a dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation.

Eerder (zoet)fruitig van geur, meer dan “putteke” of het typische geuze-/lambiekaroma. Zeer zacht van smaak, niet te zurig, met eerder een kleine bitterheid die eruit springt. Vooral bitter droog in de nasmaak.

(Bottle, Café Rose Red, Brugge, 23 Oct 2014) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, sourish nose with grapefruit, sour grapes and stable. Fruity, tart taste with notes of grapefruit, green grapes, stable and a dry and tart finish. Medium body, dry. Clean and quite well balanced, actually wouldn’t suffer from a little less balance and a bit more barnyard. Still a nice one.

37.5l bottle from Belgian e-shop. Straw color to light orange, hazy, small white head. Aroma is lactic acid, nice funk, sweet hay, very beautiful brett funk, fruity and citrusy but there are some hints of burned rubber. Taste isn’t very acidic, it’s very funky, juicy and beautiful, horseblanket and wet barn all the way. So good. Finish is not dominated by the acidity but is quite complex, medium boded and nice carbonation. Very very good geuze. I wish there Vintage were noted on the bottle.

Notes of horse blanket, hay, funk, bread, wood, grass, citrus leaves. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Overall, tasty honest lambic

Bottle. Dark blond with a ring of foam. Lots of fruits and citrus, some wet socks. Taste is citrusy tart, wood, lactic and rustic. Palate is a little too rich like most high abv gueuze. Very tasty but too heavy for me.
