COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mai

Pale yellow color with a frothy white head that keeps a nice lacing. Aroma is quite malty and sweety. Flavor is also quite sweet. Light body and carbonation with a dry sweet finish.

Pale yellow color with a fluffy white head that keeps a nice lacing til the end. Malt aroma hints of Bread and hops. Flavor is malty and hoppy. Medium body, mouthfeel is short and bitter.

50cl fliptop bb04/2015, merci McTapps. Freshly ground pale grain, fragrant grassy DE hops: this modest, dry, non-sweet Export has more delicate malt nuances (dough, almond) and more green hop quality on offer than many a pils.

Old Rating from 2008 - Gründer Hell vs. Gründer.
--> 10/11/9/10

The Gründer (formally known as Export) is the evil stepbrother of the Fiege Pils. But also tasty yo.

Geschmack getreidig herb, leicht fruchtig, würzig, leicht muffig.

Gründer (export) Blond color. Corn cobs aroma and flavor, dry, light; ordinary bitterness, very light bread. Useless.

Simples Export mit leichter Bitterkeit im Hintergrund. Süffig, einfach, ordentlich. Nichts Großes, aber durchaus nett.
Earlier Rating: 8/1/2012 Total Score: 3
0,5 l swing top bottle. Simple export \ dortmunder with a nice amber colour. A bit bitter with some simple malt and yeast. The bottle is more attractive than the beer. Alright, but not rocket science.

McTapps (4564) - Ruhrcity, North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 14, 2013
Clear golden colour with airy low head and medium to crisp body. Nose of strong hops. Taste of medium bitter hops, bitter barley, light yeast, grass, hay and citrus. Easy to drink, refreshing but just not quaffable enough.
Earlier Rating: 7/31/2012 Total Score: 3.2
Good balance of bitterness and sweetness. Perfect for a hearty and/or greasy meal, a bit hard for the taste only.
