3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Grassy, hay plus sweet, almost caramelly, honey malt aroma. Clear straw with a quickly dropping white cover. Flavour begins with nicely balanced honey-sweet malt and hops flavour and then develops into a gently bittered, crisp feel. Sort of a bitter and sweet finish, moderate carbonation, medium body. Another fuller-bodied German pils with excellent maltiness! Thanks, again, pivnizub!

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. An almost golden beer with a small, dense white head leaving some lacings. The aroma started with cooked vegetables. Then some apple and peach comes through, as well as a good dash of grains. It’s bready and malty in the mouth, with a nice bitterness. Good carbonation and medium fullness. Bready, fruity and pleasantly bitter finish. There’s something strange about this beer, maybe some butterscotch. I didn’t care too much for the aroma, but it’s quite drinkable, and don’t taste bad. (080521)

Thanks Papsoe. Golden with a huge, nice and creamy head. the aroma has notes of hops, straw and malt. The flavour has a light malty sweetness, light straw and a good, slightly citrussy bitterness.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, 4.9%. Nicely citric and malty aroma. Clear golden colour. Nice, stable white head. The flavour has OK malt and a distinct bitterness which gets rough. Quite clean and probably a good session beer once one gets used to its roughness.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also, foam disappears very fast. Tastes modest sourish, somehow moldy. An average pilsener.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Fairly rich golden colour. Sparkly. Fairly hoppy nose (heavy mossiness) with hints of seabreeze in the pale malt backbone. Rich hop palate with a firm backing malt note. One of the better pilsners for me this year.

Bottle Dec 2007, thank you Joss (Jonas). Pours nice golden color but not heady. Dry aroma of clean hop. A killer dry hop bitterness pervades the beer. Palate is nice and mellow but slightly sticky. A drinkable pils, dry and bitter. I could have more than one.
