3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of pivnizub. A well made pilsener. Effective, good bitterness, hoppy. Probably even better on tap and without having a row with your girlfriend :-( Thanks a lot pivnizub!

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2010 [9/7/09] Botte from pivnizub (thanks!)l at my hostel in Brussels. Clear golden color with a slowly-diminishing, bubbly, medium white head. Aroma of nice grassy hops and some bready notes. Bitter flavor of noble hops, light graininess, bread, a bit of hay-ish notes and some sweet malt. Medium-bodied. A decent Pils, woud probably be a lot better on tap.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml fliptop bottle: pours a very pale yellow with a smallish pure white head. Moderate metallic aroma with a bit of grassiness. Flavor is crisp and dry with bitter hops. The flavor is actually quite good. A bit prickly but I like it.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Grassy, hay plus sweet, almost caramelly, honey malt aroma. Clear straw with a quickly dropping white cover. Flavour begins with nicely balanced honey-sweet malt and hops flavour and then develops into a gently bittered, crisp feel. Sort of a bitter and sweet finish, moderate carbonation, medium body. Another fuller-bodied German pils with excellent maltiness! Thanks, again, pivnizub!

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. An almost golden beer with a small, dense white head leaving some lacings. The aroma started with cooked vegetables. Then some apple and peach comes through, as well as a good dash of grains. It’s bready and malty in the mouth, with a nice bitterness. Good carbonation and medium fullness. Bready, fruity and pleasantly bitter finish. There’s something strange about this beer, maybe some butterscotch. I didn’t care too much for the aroma, but it’s quite drinkable, and don’t taste bad. (080521)
