To drink and enjoy this beer, you really need to be a fan of very bitter beers. This beer is really bitter, but comes down with a great and fair portion of honesty and pureness. Citrus aroma, best to be drunk really chilled.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
0,5 l swing top bottle. Similar to pilsners from northern Germany as it gives you some bitterness. Colour is light golden, head is white and stable. And taste is citrus, bitter. For fans and friends of tougher pilsners. Kills your thirst for sure but nothing for a cold winter night.

Bottle Dec 2007, thank you Joss (Jonas). Pours nice golden color but not heady. Dry aroma of clean hop. A killer dry hop bitterness pervades the beer. Palate is nice and mellow but slightly sticky. A drinkable pils, dry and bitter. I could have more than one.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Swing-top bottle. Rich clear golden pour with a soapy/rocky white head. It’s good to taste a hoppy pils, it’s been a while. A balance is struck between strongly perfumey, malty sweetness and a dry, mildly bitter hoppiness. Quite smooth, I’d rather like a little bite. Many thanks to MortizF for this one!

Bottle@Home. Light grainy aroma with herbal hops. Pale yellow color, white head, good lace. Light sweet, light malty, bitter, well hopped, more bitter in the finish. Full for a lager and a hop dry finish. Crisp and well flavored. Thanks to DerDoppelbock.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap in Bochum. Hoppy aroma, bit malty, würzig. Clear, yellow coloured with a white, lasting head. Taste is bit sweet, grassy hoppy. Okay. But with the food I had very heavy on the stomach.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish pale golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Grainy and strawy aroma, a cautious, minimally sweet-ish, cereal and caramel touch. Taste is strawy, grassy hoppy, some pale malt spiciness. Rather ordinary Pilsener.
