gunnfryd (2664), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 14, 2008 Bottle @ Maria tasting. Red brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is roasted, malt, caramel. Flavour is roasted, malt, caramel, sweet, hop. Medium body. OK beer. yngwie (3342), Kristiansand, Norway May 27, 2008 Bottle, thx to papsoe. It pours a dark ruby body under a nice creamy head. A bit sourish in the aroma, with roasted malt and some coffee. Roasted malt, some burnt notes and a little touch of dried fruits in the flavor, finishing with roasted malt, some coffee and a little fruit. Medium, quite dry, yet slightly sticky mouthfeel. I’m not very impressed by this one, but at least it’s not bad. (080412) TBone (4841), Pori, Finland May 16, 2008 Bottled flip top (BB 11/2008)

Dark cola/ruby color, small off-white head. Dark rye bready, lightly cellary aroma with some sugary sweetness. Light toasted and caramelly flavor (together with some milky hints) with hops in the finish. Aftertaste is bitter. This is plesant although not inspiring schwarzbier, this seems to be quite good brewwery. Maria (3816), Thisted, Denmark Apr 17, 2008 Tasting at my place. Courtesy of Yngwie & Gunnfryd. Dark brown with a red hue and a nice, big head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, rye bread and a light sweetness. The flavour has a light bitterness and a light sweetness, notes of roasted malt, straw, citrus and a slightly dry finish. IMO a bit out of balance.
