Standard, garden variety supermarket lager. Not above mediocre for a lager. Not much more to say.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
0.33l bottle. This is a clear bright golden one with a small heavy lacing white lager head. It has a tone of sweet honey in the aroma next to some faint cardboard and butter. The honey is waxy and dominant. It has a average carbonation level in a mild oily mouthfeel. Flavors also has honey and butter with something mild grassy bitter in the finish. Also a sense of alcohol near the finish and a mild soapy aftertaste. Not to horrible here in the heat, but definitely sweet!. 06.08.2012

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
My Bottom Line :
Diacetyl dominates this lager’s otherwise mineral flavor profile, before spicy hops attempt retribution.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A sheet of foam covers the hazy straw blond.
-Hop bitterness is moderate, as expected.
-This would have been crisp and highly drinkable, if not for the diacetyl touch.
-Carbonation is prickly, perhaps too much so.
-This was not a diacetyl bomb, but it was still too present for my liking, especially in such a delicate brew.
On tap at a tapas bar in Barcelona.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pale straw coloured Euro-lager with just a hint of haze and a skim of white head, Presentable I suppose with a nose of pale malt and little else. Tastes vaguely of the same, but with useful carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours pale yellow with a large white head. Nose is corn syrup and cereal. Taste is way to sweet. If I try real hard I get a tad of bitter, but it’s hardly there. Watered down like a mofo. Mouthfeel is crisp and clean. Light body, short aftertaste. Meh.

On tap at a bar in Reus. Golden colour with a initial good formation of white head that quickly diminishes, moderate lacework. Aroma is herbal, notes of hay and slightly malty. Flavour is moderate sweet with notes of butter. Carbonation is medium. Body is light.

Draught. Low and quickly disappearing white head. Clear yellow golden body. Sweet corn like aroma. Flavor likewise sweet and corn like but with some grassy notes. Low carbonation. Short aftertaste. A bit watery and thinbodied.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
11oz bottle in a lager glass. Pours golden with an off-white head. Aroma of pale malts with a little caramel, and hints of floral hops. Flavor the same. Average texture. It’d be nice if more pale lagers were like this.
