2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Sample at the Eurostash II tasting on 12/12/09: Canned version. This brew pours a clear yellow-gold color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Light malt and citrus aroma. Light body with flavors of grainy malt, citrus and mild hops. The finish is sweet malt up front with a short hoppy aftertaste. Below average Pils overall.

Bottle, Very pale yellow, small white head. Some cereal malts and floral hops in a very simple but balanced nose. Cloying malts in the light body need but donít get a finish with bitterness. Kind of metallic aftertaste.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bought in a grocery store in Barcelona and consumed warm in a hotel room which may have contributed to the low overall score. Terrible experience!

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Strangely appealing even though I know this is not a great beer. Grainy with some butter (diactyel?) and even faint traints of hefe-like bubblegum. Back of the palate is very pale lager like with that classic, yet completely non-descript, bitterness. I cnaít help but like and this is quite moreish.

Tap @ H-original, Barcelona.
Pours clear, light golden with a small, frothy, white head. Fair lacing. Aroma is sweet, light grainy, some citrus. Medium carbonation, okay mouthfeel. Flavour is rather sweet, close to brewing cereal. Light corn, but also fine malts. Light citric bitterness.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bought to drink while walking around a market in Barcelona. Reminds me greatly of Iron City beer from here in Pittsburgh. Light pale yellow with fizzy white head. Aroma and flavor a bit metallic, watery, with corn.

Bottled. Dark for a lager, thick white head. Aroma a bit industrial, **groins smelling** though (I seriously canít read what I wrote there, but it looks like that.. Ok taste, a bit of citrus with some sourness. The finish is better.

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Brought home from Costa Brava.
Pale yellow with a fizzy looking white head. Aroma of artificial lemon, tequila?! and herbs. Wierd sweet/acidic taste. Quite far from a pilsener...
