Bottle. An amber beer with a small and quickly disappearing off-white head. It has a slightly metallic nose with fruity tones and a hint of alcohol. Immediately bitter taste that’s interwoven with a sharp fruityness. The finish is dry with a grassy bitterness to round it off.

500 ml bottle. Bright amber pour, dark white head that fades pretty quickly... definitely an ’English Ale’ aroma and taste. Not quite as full as Speckled Hen, but still a nice ale.

500 ml *clear* bottle. .. yeast was present in the neck- not a good sign. .. Amber, clear with light head. .. Fruity, herby, malty aroma. .. Malt predominates with sour undertones. Some bitterness in the flavor. .. Medium body, light carbonation. . .. After a harsh start, the experience wasn’t that bad. Not too fresh (as advertised), but would probably be better if it was. Would probably also be better if the bottle wasn’t clear.

Aroma is quite skunky. Pour is very pretty though very foamy. Nice lacy head that remains about 1/2 to 1 inch thick. Pleasant slightly sour flavour that is richly complex--slightly fruity but rich with malt tones.

Bottled(500ml). –Clear amber coloured, medium to big head, pleasant malty and fruity nose. Sweet malty, nice hoppy and fruity aroma with notes of alcohol. Much better than similar beers that I’ve tried. Lot of sediment at the bottom. Very nice ale.

Clear and deep reddish amber body with a medium foamy slightly tanned head. Burnt caramel on the nose. Dry and bitter flavour and taste with a fruity palate with nuances of toffee, liquorice and a dry bitterhoppy finish.
