Bottle at Cardinal. Caramel, malt, sweetness and some hops in the aroma. The flavor is quite malty and sweet, with hops coming stronger towards the finish, which is quite hoppy and pleasant. There’s something pleasant about this beer that I couldn’t get, but maybe it’s just that. Pleasant that is. (070623)

Interesting orange hue. Aromatic and fruity. Hoppy too. Not a bad beer. The Hen’s Tooth has enough going on to keep things interesting and is quaffable too.

Bottle-Great big giant head amber color. The aroma was slightly citrus and malt. Flavor was shunky and yeasty and not very good.

16.9 oz clear bottle. No freshness date noted.

Clear amber with a two finger beige head

Very active carbonation. It looks as though an alka seltzer tablet was dropped in the glass.

Carmel malt aroma with a touch of sourness.

Flavor is mostly caramel with some light fruitiness and a bitter metallic finish.

Metallic flavor dissipates a little as it warms and the fruitiness comes out more.

Way too much carbonation for my liking. I felt full a little more than halfway through the bottle, and in serious need of a burp.

50cl clear bottle purchased at Lee’s in Vegas. Pours a huge head which finally settles to an unattractive styrofoam lump. Light hop aroma. Sticky sweet toffee with a strong hop flavour and alcohol presence.

Interesting looking bottle. Strong bitter aroma jumped up to meet me. It is not an appetizing one. Color is a medium brown color with a medium head that doesn’t hang around long. Good sized chunk of solids on the bottom of the bottle. First taste is underwhelming. The flavor is fruity and bitter with a musty undertone. It is not a satisfying beer to drink and is even a bit frustrating. I keep waiting for the flavors to gel but it just doesn’t happen. As the beer warms a malty fruitiness emerges which is pleasant. A strong finish but still a disappointing bottle.

Pours deep, dark amber into an English pint. Fluffy off-white pancake batter head with excellent retention. Caramel aromas. Creamy fruity caramel upfront with a dry, crisp bitter metallic finish. Not fond of the metal -- thought it would subside as it warmed...

50 cl bottle. Totally over carbonated. Nice aroma of malt with a touch of hops, but very strange flavour I think something is totally wrong about this bottle, maybee the stores has keept the beer wrong. It definitely needs a reteaste.
