A brown-tinted head, lovely amount of yeast in the bottomof the bottle which I ensured reached the glass! A definite alcohol aroma with a hint of apples, A real kick to the first sip, and the second, tapering out after the third, a golden colour and a positive alcohol taste, not bad, I doubt I could have any more than five in one sitting ***EDIT*** I had to drain pour it as my stomach could not take it, I have no idea why, my rating still stands and I will rate again at a later date to ensure

Attractive rubyish pour with thinning off-white head. Caramel maltiness with a distinct waft of leafy hop in the snout. More than a hint of Sarah Hughes Ruby Mild about this. Almost strawberryish English hop fruitiness with some mildly roasty bitterness in the finish. Not a hint of metal or booze. Better than expected.

A bit unusual - has some brett- and gueuze-like funky affectations and is sometimes explosively carbonated. Rather good though. Seems acidic.

(Bottle BB 21/12/07) Toffee and flowery aroma with a hint of yeast. Dark red brown (copper) colour, hazy and large, light brown, slightly lasting head with fair lacing. Slightly bitter, toffee and caramel flavour. Lively carbonated and medium-bodied palate with a hint of alcohol. 26/03/07

Very good looking dark ruby color with large disappearing head. Aroma had strong fruit, malt, and alcohol notes. Flavor was pretty bad. Alcohol was very evident, as well as a sharp bitter taste some here are calling metallic. I drank about half, but couldn’t force the rest of it.

Bottle. Little in the way of aroma. Large frothy/fizzy off-white head with good lacing. Bottle conditioned, sparkling amber color. Moderately sweet with lots of almost fruity flavors. I liked the complexity of flavors, that I unfortunately couldn’t quite place.
