Bottle. Dark amber color with a large off-white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Moderate sweet skunky aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet malty flavor and a small bitter finish of average duration.

A little skunky with flavor with slight malt. Finish is dry with a slight bite from hops. Well balanced. Coloring is a medium orange amber with a very thin frothy white head. Slightly skunky nose. Reminds me a malt Dortmuder Helles.

Bottled: Orange/amber coloured. Clear. Dense light brown head. Caramel, fruits and light sweetness in the aroma. A bit vague. Flavour as well is on the malty side. Fruits and caramel again. Again a bit vague. Mouthfeel is smooth and light dry. Is light herbal and bitter in the end. Easy to drink.

Bottle, 500ml. A clear amber-coloured pour with a large diminishing head. Aromas of malt and banana. A slightly sweet taste of malt, caramel and honey. Alcohol is noticable but not overpowering. A light bitter finish. Average carbonation. Not bad at all.

Pours a hazy, copper color with a long lasting, off-white head. Grassy, hoppy aroma, slightly bitter taste with a nice, dry hop finish. A drinkable English ale.

(Bottled) Slightly hazy, dark, reddish copper color with a small head. Aroma of sweetish-caramely toffee, flowery hops, and a slight hint of metal. Caramely-toffee flavor with somewhat harshly bitter hops, and a spicy sting of alcohol. Medium-bodied, slightly alcoholic palate with fizzy carbonation. The water used feels quite hard. I’m still not convinced that the English could brew an enjoyable strong ale.

Looks delicious in your glas. Much like liquid amber. High bitterness, and lots of hops could be traced. Fruits and caramell.

BottleNice ruby-red copper color with an appealing off-white and frothy head that leaves a fine film. Cherry aroma with dough hints and soft alcoholic notes. The initial flavor is tart but the aftertaste is more sweet again with the presence of cherries. Light to medium body with an oily texture, softly carbonated.
