Copper colored with the aroma of hops, some tannic citrus, and some malt. The taste has that British bitter profile with the hopcit, some malt, and some unsweetened iced tea hints. Some fruit and more hosp emerge as it warms.

Bottle. Nice amber colour with a fast disappearing tan head. Sweet malty aroma with some spicy fruitiness. Sweet malty flavor with some caramel. Hoppy bitterness in the end.

Well… not really a fan of this one. The beer looked nice sitting in the glass. Hazey bronze body and a tall white head. The aroma has some earthy yet spicy hop characteristics. There was some unnecessary sweetness that I didn’t much care for… as it seemed somewhat contrived. I think it was the house yeast that I found most off-putting. Too doughy, tart, like green nuts… All the fruity esters held a compounded bitterness of rotting fruits…. I just didn’t dig it. The mouth-feel was rather pleasant though!

Bottle: Slightly hazy, copper coloured, medium-sized rocky off-white head, stable; fruity (estery) nose, "english" hops in the aroma; sweet malty and a bit nutty flavour with a moderate bitterness; dry, hoppy, bittersweet finish, a bit tart-yeasty. A quite complex, warming, soft Ale, full of character............

Looked like rotten Iced Tea. Drank it right from the bottle. Sweet with a citrus fruit flavor. The mouth feel was like a mild Champagne. I loved it.

Not all that bad. Amber color, nice thin white head. Served slightly chilled, later warmed to a slight tepidness. Honestly tastes like a double OSH. Twice the ingredients and half the charater. I got some slight ale fruit and an earthy hop bitterness that I almost mistook for clear-bottle-funk. Certainly taste that tea-like tannin that flattens out the mid-palate just as I am expecting something great.I also bought the bottle right out of a new box, I wouldn’t age this guy nor would I buy it off a shelf if it’s been there a year. I hate the English and their clear bottles, I hate the English and their clear bottles!!!!!

From a bottle. Pours a nice amber color with an absolutely perfect and lasting white head. Slightly skunky aroma with a lingering sweetness. A very basic English ale taste with a little extra sweetness and very little hops. Skunky and light struck. Incredibly underwhelming.

500ml bottle from Sainsbury. Reddish copper colour with thin beige head. Boiled sweet and candy sugar on the aroma. Some fruit and a bit of caramel, bit over carbonated. Just not that great. Bit dull and a bit of coffee/tea tannin somewhere too
