Block (363), West Lafayette, Indiana, USA Mar 28, 2009 Dark gold color with an off white head. Super skunky aroma. Yeasty flavor with some caramel and a few roasted malts in there. Some alcohol in the finish. Light to medium body. Pretty drinkable. madquacker (706), Canberra ACT, Australia Mar 1, 2009 Grippy raisens, some toffee and plums over boiled lollies. Head disappeared quickly. Feel the high ABV. Rciesla (3500), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA Feb 18, 2009 Bottle. Pours a murky amber body with an off white head. Loads of malty syrup, thick consistency, grainy, light earthy hoppiness with a thin bitter finish. Lalli (149), Helsinki, Finland Feb 17, 2009 0,5l bottle. Dark amber color with massive head. Aroma is dominated by malts and wild yeast. Flavor is quite malty and rather aggressive. This is accentuated by an almost lambic-like sourness, which I do not like in a beer of this type. Not that nice. beerledgend (919), Meadowbank Auckland, New Zealand Feb 14, 2009 Light bronze in colour with small white head. Caramel flavourwith slight green hop tinge at finish. Short soft tingly feeling on tonge. patrick767 (2016), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Jan 25, 2009 500ml bottle - Seriously, why is with so many English brewers and their clear bottles? Fortunately this one seems to have escaped light damage to the contents, but many bottles aren’t so lucky. Pours mostly clear light amber with a big, off-white head. It has a mild aroma of malt and English hops. The flavor is sweet caramel malt up front and some good, balanced hops later that ends in a pleasantly bitter finish. It’s light to medium bodied and overall a very session-able bitter. weaselkenievil (738), Cheshire, England Jan 21, 2009 Amber with a small off white head. Had a terrible cold when I rated this and it quite cheered me up. Alcohol quite present in the nose and in the flavour but I quite go for that kind of thing. Perhaps it was just the fact that this was the beer that pushed me into the drunk stage when I was feeling proper grump but I quite liked it. danielyabu (269), União da Vitória, Brazil Jan 12, 2009 espuma pomposa, esbranquiçada e de reduzida longevidade acompanhou seu corpo claro, de tonalidade cobre, densidade rala e excelente formação de colarinho.
