I definitely wasted my money on this one. The aroma was fairly interesting and mildly pleasant, but that was about it with this beer. Too sweet with lots of grassy hop aromas. Not good.

Amber color with a white head. The taste is sweet with a malty caramel taste. Slight earthy notes on the palate.

Not in the same league as another English Strong ale by Greene King. I thought it was musty and i don’t like clear bottles

Medium amber with a thin head; hops dominate the smell and taste - not much else there

Pours hazy gold with a large head. Aroma is completely skunked as is the flavor. DAMN YOU CLEAR BOTTLES!!!!! (I try again, maybe)

The pour looks like ice tea in color. Small foamed up tan head. Nose is surprisingly sweet for a clear bottle English ale! Definite malt and some light fruit notes. The taste is also malted with some light hoppiness during the finish. I can taste some faint alcohol as well. Damn good beer, I think especially considering the bad luck these English beers have had being in clear bottles. This one has no skunkiness to it whatsoever. If I didn't know better, I'd say it's fresh.

Orange brown colour with a bit of haze. It has a high degree of carbonation, which makes it almost champagne like in the begining. Aroma is malty, and the flavor is made up of malt, yeast and citrus. The palate which is a bit thin, is this beers weakest point.
