Slightly hazy orange/brown body with a small offwhite head. Aroma is a light combination of yeastiness and maltiness with only a trace amount of hops. Seems a little thin on the palate. Overall a nice mellow ale, with a flavor that blends caramel malts, english style hops, and sugars. A slightly dry, sour finish.

bottle conditioned: are you kidding me, nobody likes hens tooth!!! nice robust malty flavor and great british hops that are pretty mellow. some sweetness possibly from the high 6.5ABV. drink it an enjoy, not as good as it used to be, because now the greene king is brewing it. long live cask ale.

medium-bodied, with brewing sediment at the bottom. A nice malt flavor balanced with hints of burnt sugar. Overall, quite nice.

Cloudy as you know what. or maybe you dont know. Smells like Coors, odd. Tastes like coors on steroids. odder. is this what coors is supposed to taste like? i can see this brew turning chaps from the dark side. Its an english pale ale with extra umpf. Grainy smells and tastes, clean, pleasant. the usual.

Lightly skunked (damn clear bottles), orange-brown tint. Has a chalky, nutty bitterness. Has some caramel maltiness, finishes on the dry side.

Completely unskunked bottle, soft hop aroma, touches of dust and perfume. Caramel cookie sweetness, and minerally water profile. Nice smooth malt character, touch of wineyness with some late hops. Nice beer.

Man, I must of had a different beer than the others who have rated this. I thought it was excellent! Creamy head with a cloudy tawny body. The nose is absolutey wonderful with hints of spices, fruit, and hops. The palate is similiar offering a nice mix of mellow sweetness.

A small sized ivory head that was creamy and smooth with fine-small sized bubbles that mostly dissipated. The body had a lot of lively carbonation, transparent with an amber hue. This beer had a malty and hoppy nose with a sweet, acidic, bitter and tangy taste to it. The mouthfeel was very tingly on the tongue, more so than a lot of beers that I have rated, and it was medium bodied. The lacing was fair.
