mirjukka (695), LOHJA, Finland Jan 10, 2009 bottle 500ml EXP 20 09 08 forgotten too long to beer cellar color light amber bit white head lacing First strong hops then bit fudge malts fruity and bit metallic too. tiny knop of bottom yeast dm9831 (1167), Monee, Illinois, USA Dec 14, 2008 lear, dark amber, nice off white head, some lace. aroma of sour, musty malt, hint of licorice? flavor is predominantly malty, with perhaps a trace grass. creamy mouth feel, lightly bitter finish. pretty inoffensive. single bottle from binnys beverage depot in orland park. altacyr (144), Campinas, Brazil Dec 7, 2008 Coloração avermelhada, com espuma branca, fina. Taverner (825), San Ramon, California, USA Nov 26, 2008 Not a very good beer. Almost a drainpour, except I paid $4 for it. Pours a crystal amber with off-white head. Flavor is almost lager-like, but instead of a good lager, it reminds me of a cheap pale lager that’s been skunked. Great job with the clear bottles Morland! Despite this, you can taste some of the hop profile - and that isn’t bad. Nice and bitter back of the mouth flavor. But other than that, a bleh beer. AsaNewt (113), blackpool, Lancashire, England Nov 20, 2008 tis ones rather odd. a bit varnishy. lovely floral nose though and some really nice bitter notes. Chipper (179), Red Lion, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 18, 2008 Pours a nice dark amber with a minimal off white head. Fruit, and a little hoppy aroma. Dry, yet a little malty taste. Clean finish and stronger than it seems. Decent stuff. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA Oct 29, 2008 Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a nice reddish brown color. Aromas of dark fruits, hops, and a touch of wood. Flavor is smooth caramel malt, wood, and a nice hop. Would be so much better if it wasn’t bottled in a clear bottle.
