Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a nice reddish brown color. Aromas of dark fruits, hops, and a touch of wood. Flavor is smooth caramel malt, wood, and a nice hop. Would be so much better if it wasn’t bottled in a clear bottle.

From the 1 pt. 0.9 fl. oz. clear bottle. Pours an orange-amber color with a puffy tan head. Good carbonation. Aroma of malts, hops, and yeast. Medium mouthfeel. Taste of hops and malts and a little syrupy. Good and bitter strong ale and ends dry. I thought it was decent but not extraordinary.

50cl bottle from Jans Wine and Boos #2 (Tampa, FL). Pours a clear dark amber color with a one finger foamy white head that settles slowly. Some lacing of the glass. Aroma is rich and malty with notes of a faint sweetness (honey, caramel) and a little bread, yeast and spice. Flavor is sweet malt, honey, caramel, grass, slight hoppy bitterness. Generally light body with a slightly sweet, slightly bitter finish.

Coloração âmbar levemente turva. Creme denso e consistente. Na primera impressão do aroma, muito toffee, ervas, além da presença de malte-caramelo lúpulo. No paladar, mais malte-caramelo e um leve frutado. Final longo e doce, com mais presença de ervas/lúpulo. Excelente.

Bottle. A very strong flowery aroma, light lemon and some soap. A huge creamy white head, later on it gets more rocky, quite long lasting. The body is clear and orange. The taste is moderate bitter and light acidic with a long duration. The carbonation is lively, the body is medium strong and the texture is dry. A astringent finish.

500 mL bottle, pilsner glass. Pours a red-gold like burnished copper, the white head dissipates quickly, but a thin film of bubbles is continually resupplied by effervescence from below. Aromas of dairy, grass clippings, and petrochemicals. First impression on the tongue is caramel, lots of sweet caramel, enhanced by an almost syrupy mouthfeel. But, AUGH! something powerful and downright medicinal is here, and is savaging my palate! Malt syrup cut with Listerine. The beer is full of flavor, a touch of citrus, a touch of muskmelon, more than a touch of grassy hops, a touch of skunk. But this medicinal sensation overpowers it all. I cannot finish the beer. I admire its lovely looks again, and sadly give it a drain pour.
