Huge creamy offwhite shiny lasting head. Brown body with carbonation. Light, faintly citric malty aroma. Sweetish dark caramel taste with strong nutty notes and a touch of wood and metal. A bit low on taste, but good all the same. (0.5l bottle.)

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2006 Bottled, first try. Very full head atop a light-brown transparent body; nose very yeasty and perhaps a bit off (that goddamn clear bottle?); ’fraid I have to go with Venom’s ’puke’ description as well: the initial taste is really disturbing; rancid, almost, though it cleans up a bit and the finish has a nice sweet/bitter balance, with brown sugar and hops vying for dominance. All in all, though, I’d avoid it.

Bottle. Warning: Be careful opening this mother! I should give this fuggin’ beer 0.5 just for shooting out all over the damn place -- and that’s just from opening it, I didn’t even try to pour it yet! Godamn ridiculous! Now I have to let it sit for a while...We’re back, a while later, I’ll try not to let the beer’s prior "actions" taint my review (grumble, grumble). Pours a hazy orange-amber with lots of black floaties and a huge lasting foamy off-white head. Aroma is bready with some light sourness, fruit, spices and herbal hops -- maybe a little skunky? Damn clear bottles. Flavour of sweet malt, yeast, a little lactic, some lightly tart fruit and spices and a light bitter, dry finish. Alcohol for the most part is well hidden. Medium bodied, quite carbonated. Wow, I thought this would be much better, it’s not bad but it’s not very good either.

ogivlado (4275) - Zagreb, CROATIA - SEP 5, 2007
Bottled(500ml). –Clear amber coloured, medium to big head, pleasant malty and fruity nose. Sweet malty, nice hoppy and fruity aroma with notes of alcohol. Much better than similar beers that I’ve tried. Lot of sediment at the bottom. Very nice ale.

Orangish-amber, beige head, fresh faintly apple aroma. Pleasant mild hops and sweet malt, nicely balanced.

Golden color, and a bit cloudy. Fine head. Hoppy aroma and taste that gives it a good bitternes. I between there is a bit for some fruit.

Svesse (4215) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - OCT 21, 2006
(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 6 Oct) Amber colour with frothy beige head. Fruity nose with earthy hops (lots of Goldings character) and dark citrussy notes (blood oranges). Fruity taste with dried fruit and nice notes of earthy hops. Rather sweet, but the lovely hop character makes it a nice one.

downender (4186) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2008
500ml clear glass bottle. Slightly hazy copper colour with a moderate off-white head that left rings of lace down the glass. Red fruit and caramel aroma with a touch of spice. Flavour was slightly sweet with some doughy malt, grassy hops and a short, bitter finish. Alcohol was fairly well-hidden. Ok.
