Pours a delectable amber with very small head. Nose is very yeasty, fruity, and full of english hop funk. Some decent body on the palate, delicate complex sweetness followed by bracing grassy bitterness. A nice british ale.

Man, I must of had a different beer than the others who have rated this. I thought it was excellent! Creamy head with a cloudy tawny body. The nose is absolutey wonderful with hints of spices, fruit, and hops. The palate is similiar offering a nice mix of mellow sweetness.

Very fragrant of hops and fruitiness. A deep amber with a good head. Smooth and not too carbonated. A dry hoppy flavour mixed with some fruit and a real nice quencher. The real deal as far as I’m concerned and I have stocked up on this beauty. RE-RATING - This ale got a 3.9 from me based on the first 2 bottle I tried. After restocking, I have now had 3 consecutive bottles basically explode like a volcano upon opening. Obviously off - I even tasted one of them - foul semlling, unstoppable carbonation, completely undrinkable and makes a huge mess. A tribute to the fine folks at Ontario’s beer monopoly that they would not properly store a beer they then charged $3.50 a bottle for. So, my new rating is based on the fact that most of the bottles I’ve opened were undrinkable.

orange glow with a small pale yellow head medium body with crisp bubbles. sweet lightly spiced floral citrus aroma. the ale has some malty sweetness with a lasting bitter. there is some sour and nuttiness with a bizzare fruittiness. part citrus and part dark fruits, its hard to put a finger on. a unique beer, complicated and interesting

Dark gold color with an off white head. Super skunky aroma. Yeasty flavor with some caramel and a few roasted malts in there. Some alcohol in the finish. Light to medium body. Pretty drinkable.

A little skunky with flavor with slight malt. Finish is dry with a slight bite from hops. Well balanced. Coloring is a medium orange amber with a very thin frothy white head. Slightly skunky nose. Reminds me a malt Dortmuder Helles.

Very good looking dark ruby color with large disappearing head. Aroma had strong fruit, malt, and alcohol notes. Flavor was pretty bad. Alcohol was very evident, as well as a sharp bitter taste some here are calling metallic. I drank about half, but couldn’t force the rest of it.
