Fermented skunk cabbage. Lingering notes of furniture polish and fake lemonade. An ephemeral note of stale malt vinegar. Quite possibly the worst beer I’ve had since I swore off domestic lagers. (Of the "1 pint, 0.9 ozs," 1 pint went down the drain.)

Klarowne, miedziane, z białą szybko znikającą pianą. Aromaty traw, karmelu, miodu, słodu i owoców. W smaku lekki miód, słodowa słodycz. Brak goryczki, średnio wysokie wysycenie.

Bottle from a sampler pack received as a gift around Christmas. Darker than orange moving towards amber/copper. Little bit of off white head. Malt dominates the aroma...there’s not a lot of citrus or bright characteristics on the nose of this one which I guess was expected. Taste has earthy qualities with malt continuing to run the show. Some elements of alcohol and bitterness join the party as the sip progresses. Leaves you with toffee and caramel. Slightly metallic. I think this would benefit from the atmosphere of an English pub rather than my living room. Overall, I"m pleasantly surprised. Thought this one was destined for the lower level of ratings.

E’ una buona ale inglese. Colore arancio carico, mediamente torbida e con poca schiuma, aroma prettamente di malto, si fa bere bene con un sapore tendente al dolce. Corpo medio, alcol giusto.

Bottle. Pours clear copper with quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is fresh grass, candy, malt, caramel. Taste is malt, spicy hops, hint of caramel and alcohol. Unpleasantly high carbonation.

2/22/15. 50cL bottle my dad brought down! Clear red pour with a huge khaki head, good lacing. Lightly skunked aroma, sweet maltiness, black tea, toffee, caramel, fruity. Sweet, malty flavor, lots of toffee, some stone fruit, a suprising hop bitterness and character, mild skunk. Not bad, actually.

*Old rating from 2010. Nice strong ale. A bit sweetish, malty with a nice Ale-characteristic. Easy to drink, fresh but tends to be sticky. Nice but too sweet for me.
