COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle Conditioned.
Pipkin pale malt, Crystal malt and maltose syrup. Challenger and Goldings hops. Morland’s original yeast.
A quite unique, strong, bottle-conditioned ale with an original gravity of 1059, full of flavour and character with a richly malted aroma and a nice, smooth finish. From a blend of Pale Ale and Crystal malts, this is a rich and satisfying beer with good presentation. A strongish beer in terms of alcohol, but there’s no bite from this Hen’s Tooth!

Bottle 500 ml. Poured cloudy burnt copper with a large, off-white, rocky head which was mostly lasting. A woody aroma with notes of white pepper, toffee malts, nuts, caramelized dried mixed fruits, dried apricots and hints of spiced cookies. Flavor was a light earthy hop bitterness with toffee malts, all spice, pepper, overripe peaches & apricots, caramel, wood and a spicy/warming finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, an almost chewy mouthfeel and a good length finish.

Normally like all Moreland ale but was disappointed with Hen’s tooth. Brewed by Greene King I thought it tasted closer to a Greene King type ale then a Moreland, The ale is strong but lacked character to me, found it very average & forgettable, much prefer an Old Speckled Hen any day of the week to this.

Caramel, toast aroma with hint of herbal and floral hops. Too much white foam , but a wonderful super clear deep amber colour Undrinkable overcarbed example... A waste of money and time. Probably too old bottle

Kolor: bursztynowy: klarowny.
Piana: dość obfita, szybko się dziurawi i opada.
Zapach: owocowy, trochę czerwonych, ciemnych owoców oraz zielone jabłko, słodowy, lekko alkoholowy.
Smak: pełnia w kierunku niskiej, słodowe, lekko karmelowe, z nutami ciemnych owoców, goryczka w kierunku niskiej, wyraźnie alkoholowe.
Wysycenie: średnie.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Aroma of malt and seder bread. Clear bright amber brown color, smooth two-finger beige head, strips of lace. Taste is brisk malt that adds a simple jolt of carbonation on the swallow before moving smoothly through a long, lightly bittered finish. A well-balanced, easy-to-drink brew that seems lighter than 6.5% abv. Recommended.

Aroma: caramel malt note, a lot of english hops which I sense floral herb and baccy (US: tobacco). Fruit notes come after few second when beer warm up a little bit. Perfect for style. Apperance: amber, minimal head, tan foam. Taste: medium bitterness to high bitter. Ideal for style and me. Palate: medium body, soft carbonation, bitter. Perfect! In my opinion best beer style and this one is good flagship english hops.
