500ml bottle from local Yamaya. Sweet caramel, whiskeyish, and dark fruity nose. Reddish-brown, dark tea color with rocky beige head. Sweet fruit candy, cough drop initial flavor; mid palate is balanced with a nice tang to it; final leaves a layer of spice and some alcohol warmth. Medium body, good mouthfeel. Very tasty stuff.

500mL bottle. Poured clear, medium orange with a tall, dense, creamy beige head.. looked very good in the glass. The aroma picked up toasted grains and biscuity malts with soft oak, blended, lighter-skinned fruits, and faint nutty accents.. came across very "English", and well-constructed. The flavor found toasted bready and fruity malts at the core, with grainy fruits, toasted oak, and a kiss of honey around.. finished with more of the honey and fruits along with grainy residual sugars. Medium-bodied at most on the palate, with moderate, rolling carbonation.. creamy across the middle, and nicely tangy right at the finish.. good feel to it.. nice brew.

Pint bottle from Woodman’s. Deep ruby red color with a small, firm beige head. Aroma is creamy, roasted malt with a spicy sweet note. Flavor is roasted malt and medicinal hops. A hint of semi-sweet chocolate sweetens it up at the end. Crisp, long lasting bitter finish but still smooth on the palate. A definite winner.
