Good hoppy aroma. Medium but short-lasting head. Clear golden body. Good hoppy, resiny taste, not very intensive but noticeable.

500ml bottle from local shop. Deep golden colour, white foam head and malty aroma with a metallic hop note. Taste is malt, citric fruity, some hay & straw and metallic bitterness. Medium bodied, medium to high carbonation, dry tangy grassy bitter finish. OK.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Tesco, Langely Moor, £1.24/500ml.
Aroma is strong and earthy. Pour deep golden with a thin, very quickly diminishing cream coloured head. Initial taste is malty, giving way to heavy bitterness with marked carbonation. None of the promised citrus flavours. Perhaps over-hopped. Mediocre at best.

Malty butter citrus aroma. Heavy golden clear brown body. No head. Bubbly like a soda. Bold sleek slippery feel. Lightly roasted malt with a hit of bitterness and spice.

Golden yellow but no head - slight carbonation. Decent aroma of citrus fruit. Smooth on tongue and in mouth. Refreshing. Maintains fruity taste with slight fizz. Enjoyed.

Of Morlandís Family of Henís, the Golden is a very different style.
Now This Ale packs a lovely grassy, floral aroma which is not overpowering but remindís me of a summer garden, this drinkís best quality by far.
It pours Golden, but weak liquor, clear, looking pretty much like a run of the mill lager.
In the mouth itís soapy, very thin okay carbonation and watery substance.
On the Taste buds itís actually very drinkable, Mild, and soothingly refreshing, with hints of Clementine, lemon and melon, but mild in malt, or hop volume, but still an amazingly laid back, easy going thirst quencher which is easy to get to know. A summer drink.

50cl bottle. Aroma distinctly reminiscent of lemonade, with some butteriness. Pours brite, bubbles rise nonchalently through a golden boy, white foam atop, dissipates to a think skim, laces lazily. Light. Gentle bitterness - nettley, grassy, but nicely subdued in both senses. My evaluation somewhat overpowered by food - barely picked out a malt backbone.

From the clear bottle 1 pint 9 oz. bottle. An attractive golden pour with a modest, short-lived white head. My bottle was probably skunked so the aromas I get are tainted but I am picking up that Scottish Highland mineral water, pale malts, maybe a touch of orange, and vague grassy hops. The body is smooth and a bit better than light. The taste has a golden malt character with a clean hop finish. Typical for the style but not anything that stands above it all. Still decent enough.

500ml bottle at home. Pure golden clear colour with a decent carbonated white head. Notes of bread dough, malts and light sweet fruit. Sweet finish
