3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Well I like it. Surprisingly good considering it’s very much a macro. Lots of zesty tropical notes on the nose and in the tasting - fresh mango, orange zest, lemonade. Finishes well and is very moreish. An excellent session beer from a macro; well done Morland.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from a mixed 4 pack at Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours brassy gold with a frothy beige head. Aroma is mostly fruit, touch of citrus, mild caramel. Med body I’d say. It’s very clean. Flavor is nice light caramel with quite a bit of hop that isn’t very bitter. Seems light stone fruit, maybe some odder fruits, and finishes reasonably dry and fairly hoppy (for a UK Blond). It’s relationship to OSH shows, and it’s a delightful, moderately flavored ale.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Sainsbury drunk at home. Clear gold lasting thin white head. Citrusy aroma. Tangerine and lime, but a thin metallic version. It’s not horrible, a bit like the GK IPA Gold, but slightly better. The fruit is fruitier and there’s less metallic emptiness. Even some bitterness on the finish and a touch of pear/peach fruit salad fruit. It’s ok, even quite pleasant. To an extent. More bitter on the finish than I expected and fruiter.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pour is a clear gold with a small head. Kinda looks like a cider. Aroma is dirty malts with a big burnt thing going on. Flavor is better with some dry hay like malt with a very minor hop. Not really good.
