Drink this excellent beer almost in room temperature if it’s cold the fine aroma doesn’t come up ! The first sip is fruity but the end taste is so fine malty and hop.

Aroma: Malt: Medium, toffee, Hops: Medium, fresh cut vines, passion fruit, naartjie, vanilla. No DMS. No Diecetyl. Appearance: Gold, light copper, clear body. Small off-white head. Good retention. Flavour: Malt: Medium-light bread. Hops: fruity. Medium to Medium-high vanilla, oak on initial taste. Casked, wooden, Dry finish. Almost whisky like flavours. Honey. Medium sweetness, medium bitterness. Balance towards malt in taste, but a bitter aftertaste. Mouthfeel: Medium body, Medium carbonation. Dry finish. Overall: Quite a surprise. Very complex malt flavours. It tastes like a wood aged bitter. Exquisite. 500ml bottle, poured. Thanks Andre! 8A. Standard/Ordinary Bitter

A fantastically citrusy ale with lots of floral notes, which is so refreshing and easy to drink. This is my favourite sunny day beer, a really tasty golden ale.

Drank from a pint glass, poured from a twelve ounce bottle. Nice golden color, packed with malty flavors, but super smooth....Probably my favorite golden ale too date!

Gorgeous orange pour with a thin white head. Aroma is soft citrus. A bit if peach. Galaxy hop has a nice note. Although there's no excuse for using clear bottles anymore. This one was slightly skunked. Good though.

This is a really lovely beer even from a can, golden colour not such a good head but great body. Lightly carbonated with a strong hoppy flavour but not too bitter, refreshing finish ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Morrison’s in Chester-le-Street. Golden in colour with a floral citrus fruity flavour followed by hints of burnt toffee and a caramel and light bitter hopped finish.

clear 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a clear dark gold with a one finger white head. The head fades rather quickly but leave ok lacing. Really no skunk in the aroma which surprised me a little with the clear bottles. Caramel and toast on the nose with a little bit of corn. Fruity hops that definitely take on a tropical tone. The galaxy hops really show themselves. The flavor on this is really great. Tropical fruit right from the get-go but there is a wonderful malty backbone. Toast and caramel underneath with some pale malt. A little bit of pipe tobacco too. Bitterness is moderate with the passion fruit lingering throughout. Mouthfeel is light but makes the beer extremely drinkable. Overall, a wonderful, flavorful session beer that I could drink all day. If I could pick this up locally and it was cheaper it would be a go to beer for me. US breweries really need to take a closer look at this style.

Bottle from as a. Love the challanger hops in this. Seems to be chock full of aroma hopping spruce and citrus on the nose.Lovely rich golden colour. Not much carbonation on the bottle or head or lacing. A nice finished beer but not something I?d enjoy drinking all the time
