Crafted by the master brewer of "Old Speckled Hen", this light golden beer, delivers both flavour and refreshment. Brewed using the finest pale malts, and the rare Galaxy hop to give a light golden colour, subtle tropical fruit notes and a deliciously smooth finish.

Cask, Langton Arms, Church Langton. Golden with a firm cream head. Aromas are apple with with grain and lemon and hints of lime. Flavours are cereal with zesty lemony yeast. Bready with a dry finish and some mango fruit. Not bad.

Cask at The Champion - London. Pours clear gold with a fine, creamy white head. Grainy bready malt nose, some toasty leaves. Light sweet flavor with cheap, creamy malts, mild dough, bitter leaves, hints of citrus, touches of rubber. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Basic bready malt finish, low bitterness, some dough, white sugar, faint grass. Basic, underwhelming.

Tasted this in Tennent’s Bar, Glasgow in April 2013. Cask, handpump dispense. Crystal clear pale amber in colour with a thin clean white head. Dusty hop present in the short aroma. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a dry digestive biscuit base with a hint of orange but fleeting. Floral hop resins give a citrus bite in the long aftertaste. Finish is bitter with a note of orange pith in the mouth. An ok session Golden Ale but really lacking in complexity of flavours.

Cask @ The Lansdowne Leicester. Golden coloured (unsurprisingly) fruity aroma. Slightly tropical fruit taste, very slight bitterness. It’s alright. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Definitely not my thing. Biscuit and balls. I don’t like drinking balls. Of any kind *waits for a smart-ass comment from Dom*

Poured a clear golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma of citrus hops and fruity malt. Medium body, flavour of lemon and caramel malt, slight bitter/sweet finish.

Pint at the Rose and Crown in Reading. Amber brown with short lived bubbly head. Nice dried fruit aroma. Light, bitter, dry and fruity. Refreshing. Could be a decent session ale.

Draft at Farmers Cabinet. Clear amber pour with a moderately fizzy head that left a lingering foam. Sharp bitter with some refined caramel in balance. Still fizzy on the tongue despite the cask. Well blended. Feels simple, but also cleverly perfect. Quite nice.

Quite a sweet bitter, lots of malt prevalent, slightly cloying. Not bad but not one I’d look out for.

Clear Golden pour with small off-white head. Smooth sweet very pale malts slightly fruity and marginally hopped. Dryish finish. Easy drinking but nothing terrible exciting for the palate
