3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with white head. Reasonable, biscuity body carrying a light, fruity hop, quite lingering, smooth and with a bit more oomph would be quite tasty. Not bad though.

Cask - UEA SU, Norwich. Medium sized lasting creamy white head leaving some lace atop a clear amber body. A certain GK house yeast character running throughout. OK orange notes, citrus & sweet pale malt profile. A touch of biscuit on the tongue. A fair length grassy, citric bitterness. Softish mouthfeel, light to medium body and a lingering citrus tang.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: AUG 22, 2013 Cask Conditioned Handpump Wig & Pen Northampton. A light golden beer with a white head and lacing. Decent hops in the nose. I thought US of some description but not surprised they’re galaxy. Sweet, hoppy and with house yeast in the mouth. These struggle a little to work perfectly, but it’s still a flavoursome characterful effort. Score 3.4
Subsequent rating scored 3.6. Average becomes 3.5
