COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, pasteurised;
It’s rich amber colour and superb fruity aromas are complemented by a delicious blend of malty yastes. Toffee and malt combine with bitterness on the back of the tongue to give a balanced sweetness. This is followed by a refreshingly dry finish.

500ml clear bottle with a recognizable gold rimmed octagonal label, poured into a pint glass. Appearance is clear dark amber with a medium sized beige head that dissipated quickly. Aroma of toffee and caramel. Flavours of toffee, caramel and bread. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is light-medium bodied, slightly oily texture and average carbonation. Overall a decent beer, especially considering this is the 3.5% ABV version.

A nice alcohol-weak beer. Like how the bottle and the beer’s color makes it look like a whiskey bottle. The taste is nice and tangy.

Mitäänsanomaton, pieni ja hento kakkoskalja. Ei niin hyvä kuin voisi toivoa. Joku sievä aromi lämmetessä levisi.

500ml can, shared by djoeye. Crystal clear amber coloured body. Steady off-white head. Rings of lacing down the glass. Caramel and leafy hops on the nose, nice blend. Taste of caramel malts leading to a resinous hoppy ending. Rather thin bodied, but not diluted. Fine carbonated. Well made considering the low abv, and the other beers we tasted this evening (Tromsø 14.05.2014).

Off-white 2-finger head, amber clear body, few lacings. Aroma; hops n malts, some roasted malts, floral meadow scents. Taste; hops, grass, faint herbs, bread, roasted mild malts. Slightly dry, normal carbonation. Finishes with resin notes. Overall likeable and easy-going mild bitter. (Clear 50cl btl abv3.5% B@supermarket in Sweden, T@Rune’s Rating Residence 14-05-2014)

Pours clear brown and a little bit of suds that vanishes completely. The aroma is slight, but it reminded me a little bit of pencil erasers. The flavor is a little better than that. A lot more malt than hops, a little apple-butter, a little smoke. And then a synthetic kind of finish that almost ruined it, but not quite. Not too bad.

Clear amber reddish beer, small foam head, aromas of corn, caramel, wood, and resin are felt. Sweet malt flavors with a medium body, a good bitterness and a nice wooden flavor at the end.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance had a clear amber/red colored body with a one finger head that sustains for a good minute before slowly dieing to leave a clingy lacing. Some carbonation is seen rising. The smell had English pale malts - malty sweet and could be construed as "soapy" to some drinkers. The taste had a malty sweet all the way through with a strong English malty aftertaste and a quick dry finish. On the palate, it sat about a light to medium and was somewhat sessionable. Carbonation is mainly subdued and is good for the style and to me Overall, though maybe nothing special to scream about, but hey for what its worth, I could see myself having it again with some fish n’ chips.

Very aratic and bitter. Caramel colour, dry funish in the mouth. Smooth but strange taste.
