COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Regular.
Ingredients: Pipkin pale malt; Crystal malt; brewers sugar; Bittering hops: Challenger; Aroma hops: Goldings and Challenger; Morland yeast.
New beer introduced in Aug 2006 to replace the original 5.2% Morland Old Speckled Hen.
It’s rich amber colour and superb fruity aromas are complemented by a delicious blend of malty yastes. Toffee and malt combine with bitterness on the back of the tongue to give a balanced sweetness. This is followed by a refreshingly dry finish.

If you are looking for an traditional English Ale this is one for you. Medium hop. Medium bitter and medium malty. And why do people care about head retention or how high the foam is. Iguess its for people who doesn’t understand beer or brewing.
