Brewed since 1999 by Greene King following the take-over of Morlands

Amber color with frothy, white head. You can feel some breadish yeast smell. Light body, nothing special.

Bottle with the in-laws. Decent ESB style bottled bitter, with some fruit and caramel notes and a bit of hop bite. Still, it tasted too much like stale cardboard to me and it didn’t come close to capturing the joy of a good cask bitter.

The beer has quite a nice look. The color of the beer is a lovely red amber. The beer looks like a red ale. The beer is crystal clear. You can see a lot of bubbles rising towards the top livingly. The beer looks very nice. On top of the beer a nice layer of soft white foam is formed. The foam remains on top of the beer for quite some time. I love a creamy soft layer of foam like this. The smell is quite sweet and has something tropical. It reminds me a little of Corona or sol, those tropical beers. Its a fruity fresh, slightly sour but mainly bitter aroma. Its clearly the aroma of hops. It is quite unfamiliar. Its nice though. In the back of the smell there is an aroma of sweet banana’s. This gives a nice balance to the bitter hoppy aroma. The taste of the beer is also quite nice. The beer has a delicious bitterness, that reminds me a little of pilsener and hops. The bitterness isn’t very fruity and has a dry touch to it, which suits the beer perfectly. The beer is nothing like the most beers I’ve tried. It hasn’t a lot going on, but it’s nice in its simplicity. The beer has a lovely alcohol sweetness in the finish. I like this beer.

Tasted cold from the bottle. Good malt and hops on the nose and the palate. Caramel tan color. I enjoyed it by itself and probably even better with pub food! F Avey---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Amber body with white head. Aroma is some caramel with malts and hints of fruits. Taste is nearly the same with stronger malts. Aftertaste is nice bitter with some malty caramel sweetness.

Bottle shared by colleague at work. Clear deep amber colour, rather short lasting off-white head. Aroma mostly caramel, light diacetyl, light grassy hops. Taste has lots of caramel, toffee. Also moderate diacetyl, but nothing over the top. Moderate body and moderate to high carbonation. Overall not bad, but not great either. Average.

Pours a clear 24 karat gold with a +1" head of foam. Some lacing. Malty nose with fruity hop presence. Overall sweet and fruity aromas. The taste has that discernable English hop taste that leans towards the fruity along with sweetish and bready malt notes. I’d say of the fruit, I get mostly lemon and the malt has quite a bit of caramel and some nutty notes. Light bodied with light carbonation. Some light toasted malt to go with this ESB. .I have to say that this tickles my fancy. Despite the fact that it comes in a clear bottle.

Color is amber. Aroma is very malty with a hint of apple. Head is very smooth. Nothing denoting nitro written on can but it sure seems to be. Taste is mild and beer is almost flat. Definitely an English pub style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Shared bottle at home. Clear copper, amber. Thin white head. Caramel, cardboard, vanilla, hazelnut, dry leaves. Light sweet, medium bitter. Medium body, fat, milky mouthfeel. Ultralight carbo.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Chlear amber with big off white head. Weird skunky and cardboard on the nose. Cardboard, caramel, light marmalade, light grassy herbs, sugary, bread. Medium sweet and light bitter. Under medium bodied with soft carbonation. Not that bad but it smells really nasty to me.
