500 ml on tap @ Grunerløkka Brygghus,September 29,2012 Beige/light to brown in color.Aroma is a bit malt, yeast and hops. Very easy to drink.I think it is a bit to thin and watery and it lacks taste.

Can into pint glass. Pours a clear copper colour with an off white tarnish head. Aroma is faint hops and malt. Taste is malty with a nice floral hop character. Good easy drinking beer.

Bottle, consumed at home, bought from Morrisons, 15/01/2016. Big biscuity malt character. Toffee crisp chocolate candy. Icelandic caramel sweets. Perfectly bottled malty beast. Condition is perfect.

Poured from a can that must have been shook up. Settled to translucent red with a creamy head. Malty aroma of toffee and honey. Taste is watered down with flavors of honey and dough. I like the creamy mouthfeel of the head but the beer itself is oily and a bit watery with low carbonation. The watered down taste ruins this beer.

500ml bottle. Clear copper brown colour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is sweet malty, caramel, hops. Same can be said for the flavour, a note of toffee too. Nice.

Clear nutty color with a fine off white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Lots of toffee in this one, mild citric and mild fruity.

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2016 Flasche (50 cl) von Jenny Lou’s, Peking. - Kupfernes Rotbraun, klar. Gut bitterer Nachtrunk. - Keine Hopfenbombe aber ein angenehmes, rundes Bitter.

Bottle. Gift. Oh well, shan’t look it in the mouth. Russet brown. Clear. Precious little head. Very little smell, some caramel but that’s all... On the other hand it’s missing that metallic smell you get with so many supermarket bitters. Taste is ok, some nutty bittersweet. I like the mouthfeel, really moreish. Makes you forget how humdrum the rest of it is.
