My favorite bitter. Pours deep copper in color with a small dense head. Aromas of caramel and toffee. Same goes for flavor, with a nice bitterness to balance the sweetness from the malts. Medium body. A great ale.

Out the bottle. Smells of biscuit, caramel, butterscotch and basic grains. Taste is bitter bread and butter, a nice robustness to it

Looked promising but failed to deliver on all fronts. As a positive, it tasted better than Stella. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Slightly hazy brown color with a good amount of activity. Thin creamy beige half a finger head, lasting around 5 minutes, with some good leggings. Flavors of caramel, cookies, butterscotch, toffee, faint molasses, buttery, and herbal spices. Bready, grassy, and a little earthy. Balanced sweetness with a nice sharpness. Smooth oily creamy medium body with prickly carbonation. Medium strength finish that lingers a little, ending with bitter spices including peppercorn, and an herbal grassy hops tongue coat. Overall good quality craft. Tasty flavors that are nicely balanced and well intensified. Slightly flat yet OK freshness. Good accessibility while a little boozy.

Közepes, örökké tartó hab, gyönyörű réz szín. Enyhe, kissé karamelles, fűszeres illat. Enyhe ízvilág, karamell, fűszerek, némi gyümölcs. Közepesen testes, frissítő, közepesen keserű, erősen szénsavas. Kellemes, könnyed frissítő.

Draught can to glass, big persistent foamy tan head. Clear light copper color. Aroma is toasted malt, toffee. Flavor is mild sweet toasty slightly astringent toffee, subdued bitterness, slight sweet medium mouthfeel low carbonation.

Can at home. Pours clear amber with fleeting off-white head. Aroma mostly malty, some tea, honey and biscuit. Rather too bitter given the lack of depth and complexity in the flavours - somewhat blunt and metallic on the palate.

Bottle - heavy carbonation giving large head over clear brownish amber body. Decent toffee aroma, ok mouthfeel, fruity caramel tasting. Good finish, enjoyed.
