500ml bottle. Copper body, low white head. Sweet malts and a slightly bitter finish. Too much caramel for my taste but besides that ok.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice amber color with a thick cream top a la nitro-can. Smells of light, sweet malts, some caramel, some milk, some tea and light grassy hops. Pleasant nose. Flavor carries plenty of amber malts, some tea, some slight wood character; overall not particularly complex, but quite well balanced. Full bodied with nitro carb and a forgettable finish. Overall, I find this can of beer pretty enjoyable.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at home. Has a golden amber colour with a beige, creamy, medium head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, leather, wood, bread, berries and hints of citrus. The flavour is similar but a bit lighter and less complex. Still the sweet malt dominates but has more a distinct touch of the hops. Slick and soft mouthfeel, and a medium bitterness. A solid classic.

Zeer heldere koperen kleur met een volle kraag. Ruikt citrus, pils en ruikt ook iets raars. Smaakt bitter zoet, lichte caramel, citrus. Lichte smaak.

Deep orange to brown colour. Small bubbly lacing head. Aroma of grain, corn, yeast, a touch of grass & caramel. Medium body, oily texture. Tastes of sweet and bitter. The finish is smoothly bitter, too. It leaves a very positive impression. The best ESB Iíve had by now.
