This classic english pale ale is a good example of a well sessionable ale. Slightly on the sweet side this beer has a great up-front aroma and is very satisfying in the mouth. An easy beer to drink for all occasions. Pairs well with almost any hearty food and can be enjoyed just as well on its own. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

35,5cl bottle. Pours reddish with weak head. Bitterness dominates the taste, but is not overwhelming. Nice beer.

Pours orange/red with a small white head that doesn’t last. Lowish carbonation. The taste is malty, quite bitter hoppy, with some faint hints of sweetness (possibly caramel), and the texture is almost a little creamy. Nice beer

Den lugter ligesom Heineken på vej ud. hmm, Ddet er bitter, men ikke bitter nok, med en lille smule af karamel mal.

Served in a tulip from a 500ml bottle. Pours clear amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma is caramel, roasted malts, toffee. Taste is mainly toffee and caramel malts with a hint of pleasant saltiness, very soft slightly bitter finish. Thin body with medium carbonation. Balanced and very easy to drink. Pleasant, quaffable and enjoyable.

Amber color with frothy, white head. You can feel some breadish yeast smell. Light body, nothing special.

Bottle with the in-laws. Decent ESB style bottled bitter, with some fruit and caramel notes and a bit of hop bite. Still, it tasted too much like stale cardboard to me and it didn’t come close to capturing the joy of a good cask bitter.

The beer has quite a nice look. The color of the beer is a lovely red amber. The beer looks like a red ale. The beer is crystal clear. You can see a lot of bubbles rising towards the top livingly. The beer looks very nice. On top of the beer a nice layer of soft white foam is formed. The foam remains on top of the beer for quite some time. I love a creamy soft layer of foam like this. The smell is quite sweet and has something tropical. It reminds me a little of Corona or sol, those tropical beers. Its a fruity fresh, slightly sour but mainly bitter aroma. Its clearly the aroma of hops. It is quite unfamiliar. Its nice though. In the back of the smell there is an aroma of sweet banana’s. This gives a nice balance to the bitter hoppy aroma. The taste of the beer is also quite nice. The beer has a delicious bitterness, that reminds me a little of pilsener and hops. The bitterness isn’t very fruity and has a dry touch to it, which suits the beer perfectly. The beer is nothing like the most beers I’ve tried. It hasn’t a lot going on, but it’s nice in its simplicity. The beer has a lovely alcohol sweetness in the finish. I like this beer.

Tasted cold from the bottle. Good malt and hops on the nose and the palate. Caramel tan color. I enjoyed it by itself and probably even better with pub food! F Avey---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Amber body with white head. Aroma is some caramel with malts and hints of fruits. Taste is nearly the same with stronger malts. Aftertaste is nice bitter with some malty caramel sweetness.

Bottle shared by colleague at work. Clear deep amber colour, rather short lasting off-white head. Aroma mostly caramel, light diacetyl, light grassy hops. Taste has lots of caramel, toffee. Also moderate diacetyl, but nothing over the top. Moderate body and moderate to high carbonation. Overall not bad, but not great either. Average.
