I like this beer a lot, but it is better out of a tap than in the clear bottle. Beer in clear bottles can be a worry to me as it conjures up images of ice beers and cold filtered or light beers. The creamy head and malty sweetness from the tap beer is great. I could drink this all day easily.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with average white head that disappeared quickly. Aroma is very faint with hay, caramel, English hops. Taste is slightly bitter with hops, caramel, malt, hint of candy.

Pours a darker golden/reddish colour with medium head with quick dissipation. Aroma is sweeter, with hints of chestnuts and strong caramel backing. Taste is also sweeter with a caramel body and a mostly malty and bitter aftertaste. In general a very interesting bitter.

Bottle. Clear chestnut body with a thin white head that holds well. Low carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of rust, metal, earth and wood. Flavour of steel, herbs, earth and pear. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. A bit thin and metallic. Also, what’s with the clear bottle?

Good bodied and smooth but fairly low on aromas and flavors. Some fruitiness but low on hops and with low bitterness for the style.

Kolor: Miedziany, klarowne. Zapach: Dość wyraźne toffi, tosty, lekkie orzechy. Delikatna kwiatowa miodowość, nuty karmelowe. Smak: Spora orzechowo-tostowa słodycz i leciutka, karmelowa kwaśność. Trochę nut owocowych w stylu wiśni, czereśni. Tekstura: Dość aksamitne, spore ciało. Lekko cierpkie. Nasycenie: Minimalne. Goryczka: Trochę ponad średnią. Mocno skontrowana słodyczą. Pijalność: Bardzo Wysoka. Pomimo nieco przykrej otoczki produkcyjnej piwo trzyma wysoki poziom.

Pours golden-red, with a bit more head than expected for strong ales, but it is quickly dissapearing. Smell is strongly yeast-to golding hoppy, no citrusy notes. Taste is very pleasant, soft, lacking an aftertaste, low carbonation and a full mouthfeel.

A pretty decent standard ESB. Copper-ruby juice with a cream light beige head. Nice earthy and herbal UK hops, light basement and caramel stink. Taste is bittersweet hops and honey. A light oiliness, low carbonation and dry finish make it a classic bitter choice.

Mooie amberkleur, een duidelijke geur van caramel, licht bittere smaak met een duidelijke caramelsmaak, de afdronk is prettig bitter. Heb weinig ervaring met Brits bier, maar dit is een prettige kennismaking! Lekker bier!
