355ml bottle. Clear amber with small quickly fading white head. Malt aroma has notes of dried banana, bread, toffee. Sweet, malt dominated taste leaves an acidly film on the teeth. Not bad, but with an pyrosis provoking touch.

500ml bottle lightly chilled in the fridge. COLOUR - Burnt amber HEAD - Medium head that quickly dies down to leave a light coating on the beer, it’s creamy and velvety both in feel and appearance with the slightest hint of yellow corn colouring. SMELL - Toffee, ripe banana and a maltiness that reminds you of that old traditional pub smell. CARBONATION - Medium carbonation for a beer, slightly higher than most strong ales. ATTACK - Burnt toffee, honey. MID PALATE - Good soft and velvety mouth feel, grassy pine flavours mixed with a slight bitterness and orange peel, toffee and ripe banana. FINISH - A long finish. More malty than hoppy, a sticky sweet syrup flavour that develops into a light bitterness, quite light and easily followed by another and another. For a 5.2% beer it could be considered as a session beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Decent lager beer with little head and yellow body, slightly hoppy flavour but not overpowering. A decent bitter, good for a session or twenty.

355 ml bottle. Poured a deep amber, almost brown, with a small white head. The aroma is fairly mild and dominated by white bread. The taste however is punchy, with chewy malts set off with fruity hops. Nicely balanced, it finishes dry and slightly bitter. A nice example of an ESB.

dark orange brown, clear liquid. pours a foamy slightly silky head that keeps its texture pretty well. aromascape is pretty malty with bitter sour bread. some fruit, burnt wood and honey, wet leaves. easy sweet honey sweetness, balanced sourness with bitterness; a easy, gritty, smoothened platform. the texture of the medium light body is slightly slick silky, although feels a tad watery. the combination work pretty well with the tastes. a decent bitter, not particularly strong or characteristic but has some oomph and enjoyability.
