An amber beer with a small head, it has a slightly fruity aroma. The flavor is a little flat with a very soft bitterness and sweetness from a good malt blend. It’s an OK beer, but nothing special.

Sampled cask conditioned at Blackfriars, Inverness, Scotland.
Brownish amber colour. Flowery aroma. Sweet and nutty with medium body. Syrupy finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Neatly amber couloured with a white head. Malty body with notes of nuts and caramel. Highly drinkable. 101200

Dark amber; aroma - powdery hops, tobacco, soft biscuity malts; dry, toasty character, creamy body.

50 cL can. Pours light brown/amber with a lacing off-white head. Caramel malty aroma with a minor roasted note. Medium bodied. Malty flavour, well balanced with the bitterness. Caramel, slight sweet and with slight special hops twist. Nice, but not my favourite style.
