I thought this was a much more impressive beer than the same brewery's Hen's Tooth, despite their overall ratings being close to identical here.

does not count  Aug 29, 2008 500ml can. Pours a clear, dark red with frothy white heat that lasts. Aroma is freshly picked fruit, slightly citrusy, a tease to smell. Flavour has a lot of character. Bitter, but not too bitter. Can taste the malt and the hops, but in just the right combination. Quite good if you like a clear, bitter beer. Very refreshing.

Aug 27, 2008 Out of a can purchased at By the Bottle in Vancouver, WA--Poured a drab copper-amber body with a huge white head. Nutty, metallic, creamy, nutty nose. Not the best flavor, but the palate adjusts to the weird flavors and takes on the creamy fluffy body. English beer in a can all the way baby!

Aug 16, 2008 (Bottle). Sourish hoppy aroma. A pretty color, reddish amber with a moderate off-white head. Unpleasant cardboard taste, with unpleasant skunky aftertaste. Not a good experience, possibly a sample impaired by clear bottle.

Aug 14, 2008 Medium brown appearance. The aroma of this beer is very pleasant; it’s a little hoppy, and a little wheaty. As for the flavor, it starts out with a very strong malt flavor, but later, the hops become the most evident. The palate is very smooth. This was a beer I knew little about, and I ended up liking it a lot!
