2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
A clean english bitter with a nice yeast profile. Not much on the hop aromas, slightly earthy. Malt is clean light and refreshing with some nice bready and biscuity flavor.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a copper color with a decent head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of citrus and mild malt sweetness. Taste of malt, some caramel sweetness and mild citrus in the background. mild bitterness and a fairly dry finish. Moderate body and smooth with a nice balance. Enjoyable Bitter, nothing fancy but still quite solid.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Drank directly from a crystal clear bottle. This beer is classified as a bitter but I find very little bitter attributes within. Very mellow and easy to get along with. Some cabbage on the pop but that is to be expected considering the bottle. Nice clean lookin almost brown pale beer. Yes, goes down fairly easy. These lower alky beers are fun to deal with. There are some ale attributes present but fer sure its better than some of those moreland beers Iíve had like speckeld hen but this may not be as good as the golden hen I had on cask. On the finish this beer is trying to a little bitter but never quite gets there.

12oz bottle. Good clean hoppy aroma, caramel. Smooth, lighter crisp carbonation, light body - impressively easy to drink. Good light bitter taste. Clear orange color, nearly no head. Light bit of honey? Much better than expected

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Serving: 12 oz. bottle. It pours a clear amber color with a short lived white head. The nose is a mix of euro lager (thanks to that clear bottle Iím guessing) and buttery English ale. Itís a little slick on the tongue with a stale bitterness and a touch of toffee. Off balance with a bitter finish that reminds me faintly of aspirin. Light to medium body with average carbonation. Less than mediocre.

Bottle. Skunked aroma that soon lost itís skunk and became a pleasant floweriness. Restrained sweet malty body, fairly light with a lekker finish. Better cold

Clear bottle. Surprisingly not skunked. And surprisingly good. Light toastiness, light hop bitterness, pleasant.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours light red...not much head...aroma is a skunky sweet malt... Taste is weird...has a decent initial taste but the finish is an unplesant bitter blech...wont do again

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Clear 500ml bottle drank a week before its best before date in late October 2008.
Poured into a Batemans pint sleeve glass. Clear, bright, teak brown or red wood in colour depending on how it caught the light. The off-white head soon went to just a collar.
Toffee aroma, mixed with caramel and some malts, nothing spectaclar.
The aroma wasnít anywhere in the taste, which was tinny and metallic. Very dry in the mouthfeel and aftertaste for such a good smelling beer.
No redeeming features apart from its looks, a fizzy beer that Iíll not be trying again.
